Technical Working Group - "Technical Survey - Current Methodologies and Possibilities for Enhancement"
The need for organising such a meeting was identified during the LR workshop organised by GICHD in Dec 2017, and more recently during the Country Coalition Meeting and other meetings related to MA in BiH. A General Assessment was recently completed in BiH, producing a better and more realistic size and locations of the EO related problems in BiH. Additionally, a new IM system, IMSMA CORE was introduced, which will be used for further planning and tasking.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and identify gaps and possibilities for improving the TS in BiH, in a broader context, including operations, IM, standards and the legal framework.
00Program and Method
The 1-day Technical Working Group meeting will take place at the Hotel Europe in Sarajevo on the 16th December 2020.
The following topics will be presented on and discussed:
- TS - IMAS and Good practice
- Presentation of the results of the country wide assessment (CWA) project in BiH
- Open panel on the results of the CWA in BiH
- Current methodologies, standards and challenges with TS in BiH
- Planning and tasking TS based on new data from CA project
- Process and forms for reporting on TS in BiH
- IMSMA CORE - Advantages and Limitations
- Open panel - next steps
00Participants
The meeting is exclusively for BHMAC staff.
00Cost
The meeting including the conference venue, lunch and coffee breaks are covered by the GICHD. Two partial sponsorships are given to two BHMAC staff from the regional offices (accomondation only, including breakfast). Donor of the workshop is Germany.
